Today, after the Bootcamp is over, I can say that I was not wrong in choosing Campsite to start this new path. Not only because of everything I learned on a technical level, but also because of the human team behind it. The personalization of each class, the commitment, the time dedicated to each student, patience and positivity were the protagonists of this Bootcamp. Thank you very much to all! 100% recommended. 

 Masai is a great example that replenishes the fact, "The more you sweat on training, The less you bleed in battle". Being a student doesn't feel like a student but more like a newbie in corporates who's in his learning phase. Before joining Masai, creating a weather forecasting web application would be a nightmare for me but to be frank enough, I built the whole application in just a time-lapse of 3 hours as a part of my assignment. Hats off to the instructors, curriculum, ops team, and each person working in Masai. Masai has fulfilled my dream of being an engineer, which is too full-stack. I wish many more dreams to come true. I give my full endorsement to the Washington University Full Stack Development Boot Camp. My only regret is not taking advantage of it sooner, and if you're reading this, hopefully you won't wait as long as I did.

I spent 15 years in my first career, a full-time Middle School English teacher, but despite the time and commitment I was putting into my job, I rarely felt like my compensation matched the effort I put in to my job, but teaching was such a specialized field and when I thought about leaving, I always assumed I would need to spend lots of time and money if I ever wanted to change careers, so I habitually talked myself out of it. Finally, my wife and I reached a point where we realized that we would need some expensive medical help to expand our family through IVF and no teaching jobs where we were located in St. Louis offered insurance coverage for those procedures...I needed a change of career to a field that would support me and my family through this need, and that's what finally pushed me into looking for a change. After interviewing and researching multiple options, I ultimately settled on the Full Stack Coding Bootcamp through Washington University- St. Louis, and boy am I glad I did.

The program appealed to me in a wide-variety of ways. The most convincing aspect of this boot camp was absolutely the program's unique appeal to old-school and new-school methods of thought alike. In a six-month intensive boot camp, I would be exposed to the most up-to-date and groundbreaking technology and languages (sometimes these can go out of date/style during a 4-6 year degree path) while also having the prestige that a well-regarded University like WashU provided in the eyes of more traditional hiring entities. In reviewing upwards of 15 programs, this was a unique combination that was truly only offered by one place.

When the program began, I was worried because so many of the members of my cohort were younger or had done coursework to prep them for this class while I was coming in totally fresh. I quickly learned that the program adapts to fit the unique needs and personalities of the members within it. I cannot say enough kind things about my teacher, Tom, and my TA, Matt, both of whom took the time after their own full-time day jobs in the tech field to give us experienced, competent, flexible, and confident guidance throughout our course. More importantly, as a teacher in my "past life", I was impressed with the instructional style the program offered. The teacher and TA would provide instruction and demonstration of a skill, and then, in a breakout room with one or more peers, I would work through a coding activity with my peers that required the skill just reviewed as a class. This format gave me the support needed on activities that I found particularly difficult as well as the freedom to learn hands-on and "figure it out" when going through the activities with my classmates. Even if my classmates and I couldn't figure something out, our teacher and TA were constantly floating from breakout room to breakout room to ensure support was provided to those who needed it when they needed it.

I also really loved the challenges and group projects. With each weekly challenge, I found myself building full stack applications that could do things I only dreamed about designing before this program. The inclusion of three major group projects similarly allowed me to learn what it would be like to work collaboratively on a development project and truly prepared me for my career. More than that, I got an opportunity to work closely with a lot of people from different backgrounds than my own, many of whom have become valuable resources and close confidants during the boot camp process.

Halfway through my boot camp journey, I began applying to jobs and sending out my resume thanks in part to encouragement from my teacher and TA, who told me it was never too early to start getting technical interview experience. I was lucky to get a couple of interviews and actually got offered a job as a Site Reliability Engineer at Mastercard while my boot camp was still going on! Suddenly, I was making twice what I made as a teacher, working a hybrid position that gave me more time at home, and getting the necessary insurance coverage I needed so my wife and I could grow our family. I was making my dreams come true, and this boot camp had so much to do with that.

I am fully satisfied with my experience, and rather than pivoting away from boot camp and focusing on my new job, I've made the decision to commit myself fully to doing both for the remainder of the boot camp because of how valuable I found the content of the course leading up to my eventual hiring. Advice that I would offer to those considering this program is to do whatever it takes to get yourself enrolled. Make the leap of faith, block out the time in your life, let your support system know you're going to need them pushing you and keeping you motivated for the next half year and SIGN UP. For those who have already taken the leap, my advice would be that you get out what you put into this program, so don't try to skate by and work through the program with as little interaction with your instructors and peers as possible. The people who thrived in my cohort were the ones who talked during breakout sessions, who asked questions when reviewing concepts, who showed up to office hours before and after class each night, and who took advantage of the numerous resources offered by the program's strong support structure. I'll say it again (and a million times if one more person out there hears me): this program helped my change my life and that of my family. I am eternally grateful and can't say enough good things about it.

The weekly live classes with the coach were very helpful. Then they do additional live session which are not mandatory but id say is another great resource to understand the courses better. And the whole member of QS are very responsive and their goal is really for you to succeed in this field.

In this course, you will learn much more than just coding in JavaScript for both the frontend and the backend, covering browser and server development (see curriculum).You will learn how it’s like working together with your classmates in your cohort and all that in an environment (technical and social), that is used by professionals in daily production. The hierarchy is incredible flat and you can talk to Armagan Amcalar and Di Long Lu just like you would with your friends. The difference is that they are seasoned professionals who also run their own tech companies. I mean Armagan is outstanding by himself but you will also have the chance to talk through your graduation project with Alessandro Sabatelli (each of you, half an hour, and that’s a lot), who runs a tech-company in New York and San Francisco (he might mention to you, in a side note, that his agency was the creator of the design for the YouTube App on the Apple iPad). Together with your cohort, you will have a session with him, after everybody has found their idea for their graduation project and built their wireframe. It’s super useful, even if you can listen to the thoughts and advice of Alessandro to all your classmates projects.

You will learn a lot and gain valuable insights into the tech world with De Long Lu (our main teacher), who also shares interesting stories. The graduation project includes pair programming sessions. 

There is hardly a better way to start a coder's career than with Coyotiv.  Additionally, the course being conducted in English will open up new opportunities for working in multinational teams, where English is often the primary language. Choosing to take this course was a wise decision, not only for the technical skills you'll acquire but also for the ability to continue learning. After all, the journey of learning never truly ends.

From the moment that I begin my journey last August to working towards attaining my certification I was excited. It is not an easy decision to learn a new skill or pursue a different line of education. It is easy to know that after the hard work that you have done you can be the professional and an influence to others. I am so glad that I found this program and made the sacrifice to work hard to learn a new skill.
The hard skills that I have in data analytics were fined tuned as I moved through the Academy assignments. I have admit that I hit many roadblocks in studying but the mentor resources that are available gave me the support and confidence I needed to reassure me that I could do it. I am so appreciative of the work that the instructors, my peers and the mentors provided and I hope to be an influence and shoulder to lean on for any future student of Data Science that may need it.

As a participant in this Data Science bootcamp, I'm almost at the end of it. Foremost, I must highlight the unwavering support extended to me since my time of enrollment. The team has been diligent in promptly addressing all inquiries, ensuring clarity at every doubt of mine. Turning to the curriculum, it stands as a pinnacle of excellence, meticulously crafted to meet the current industry demands. Under the guidance of instructors, i.e., who are current industry experts, I have gleaned invaluable insights, enriched further by their adept explanations and interactive teaching methods. This approach ensured our alignment with the curriculum, facilitating a seamless learning experience. Each module culminated in the completion of multiple projects, allowing for practical application of acquired knowledge. Of notable mention is the provision of a dedicated platform for honing our skills, a testament to the bootcamp's commitment to the learning. Presently, I am working on the capstone projects, a culmination of our learning journey.  To say about the placements, I also got support from them regarding resume development despite being in the learning phase. 

This bootcamp taught way more than just a handful of coding languages, it taught me the best way to think like a programmer and how to learn new languages as new problems present themselves. Every instructor I had was great and they seemed genuinely invested in me actually learning the material, not just passing an assignment. This took almost every issue I have had with school and threw it out the window but was able to keep me engaged and accountable anyway. The career section at the end was invaluable and I still can't believe how straightforward it seemed to jump from a mediocre job with little future to the job I've always wanted and plenty of room to grow. I can't recommend this program enough, it genuinely opened more doors for me than I could have thought. Some of the instructors still reach out to see how I'm doing and to make sure I was able to reach all of my goals. Overall incredible experience, just make sure you are able to hold yourself accountable and put the hours in!

Joining arol.dev was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made! Over the 3 months of course, I not only learned a lot about coding, going from JavaScript and Node.js to AWS and Docker. But I also grew so much in terms of soft skills like confident public speech and communication.

The environment at arol.dev is amazing! The instructors know so much and they genuinely care about helping you succeed. Plus, the focus on mental health made it a super supportive environment where everyone felt great.

PunchCode was an overall great experience. Mario was an awesome program manger and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and their success.  He has helped me tremendously in finding work after graduating, which I will always be grateful for. While the instructors will teach you all the technical skills, Mario will teach you life skills and how to be successful in the real world. He has excellent leadership skills and sure knows how to run a good program.

The instructor, Thomas, is nothing short of amazing. Not only is he a wizard when it comes to programming, but he actually knows how to teach it as well. Before PunchCode I took some online courses and watched a lot of YouTube tutorials, but nothing compared to the way Thomas teaches. I was extremely impressed with his ability to simplify such complex topics and make it easy for complete beginners to understand. He excels in his ability to read and understand each student's code (and trust me there was some very messy code written by us). He can jump inside the mind of each student and fully understand their thought process, which allows him to explain things to them in the best way. I don't know how he does it, but he was always able to answer every single question that we had for him in such an easy to understand way. My coding skills are light years ahead of where they were before I started PunchCode, and I can attribute all of that to Thomas.

Don't let me forget about the assistant instructor, Teya. Teya is such a fun and amazing person, and she really cares about all of her students. She goes out of her way to personally connect with each student, making everyone feel very welcome. PunchCode has a very intense and high-paced curriculum which can be very stressful and affect your mental health. But Teya was always there for us to pick us back up and bring out the best in us. She was there for us when whenever we had any coding-related questions too, and it was aways nice to get a different perspective on how to do things. Her organizational skills are also top-notch. She made sure to always keep us updated with everything we needed to know, and it was because of her that such an intense course was able to run so smoothly. I feel like everything would've been so chaotic without her. When we graduated, she made us a very well thought out and thorough Notion doc with every resource that we needed to be successful after PunchCode.

I would highly recommend PunchCode to anyone wanting to level up their coding skills and break into the industry. At first I was on the fence as to whether I should attend a bootcamp or just try to learn everything by myself online, but I can tell you that it was 100% worth it choosing PunchCode. 

I recently completed the Austin Community College Software Development Bootcamp and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Piyush was an absolute wealth of knowledge. Every lecture with him was filled with detailed, insightful information and he was always happy to answer questions. Brittany was a fantastic mentor and an expert in JavaScript. She was kind and patient and always there to help whenever I needed it.

Jon was an incredible instructor who took the time to make sure I fully understood HTML and CSS. He was extremely knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to help me grasp the material. Finally, I have to give a big shoutout to Jon-Mikel, who was an excellent instructor for our class on JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, APIs and MongoDB. He was able to break down complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand and always made sure we had the support we needed to succeed.

Overall, I highly recommend the Austin Community College Software Development Bootcamp. The instructors are top-notch and the course material is comprehensive and well-organized. I feel confident in my new skills and am excited to apply them in my career. Thank you to the whole team at ACC for a fantastic learning experience!

Code Immersives really isn't a bootcamp, It's a school and so far one of the best schools I have attended. Not only do they take everybody in mind ( from people with no experience to people with a lot of experience) but they also are just really there to provide you with industry knowledge to get you out in the job market. As an international student I was hesitant at first thinking about the whole paper work I would have to fill in but Tom my DSO and Anthony helped me every step of the way not only did they guide me through the process but once the course started were they available pretty much to answer any of my concerns. Then talking about the teachers they all come from various backgrounds in the industry and have so much knowledge about the industry standards that it is often so interesting to hear them explain concepts and see how they approach problems (shout out to my teachers Rashaan and Kelvin they really thought me so much). This doesn't take away from the fact that you will always have to put in the work to learn the concepts you see in class and to review and I guess 'do your homework'. If you are hesitant about joining a course or bootcamp then don't cause like I said code Immersives provides so much more then that. I am finishing up my last term right now and am excited to get started in the job market. If you have any questions about the course feel free to reach out to me.

I was working at an automotive company in Detroit and our website was in need of more help than I could provide at that time. We had hired a few different web development companies but no one ever really delivered what we were looking for. So I decided to go to school to learn for myself.  I looked at multiple online bootcamps but MSU just seemed the best option all around, which was confirmed after speaking to the admissions staff who took the time to actually ask, care and direct me to the program that would best suit my needs. At this point I had ZERO schooling for web development and had been running a WordPress site only, had not had a computer class since the 6th grade. I was so nervous to begin but if you are thinking of taking that first step all I can say is..... DO IT!

I was assigned an exceptional instructor who brought patience, understanding, intelligence and real world practical experience and advice to the classroom. He was ALWAYS helpful, I ask a million questions (that's how I learn) and he has always made sure every one of us students fully understands the subjects and concepts he is teaching. Between the classes, the instructor,  office hours and tutors, the Virtual Learning Assistant there are so many tools available to assist you. They foster a team environment to learning and my teacher really made all of the difference in my learning experience. I knew it would be fast paced because it is a bootcamp but it is still enough time to get a good understanding of each module. Each week is a new module (subject) that layers on what you learned the last week. At the end of every week a challenge (assignment) is given to do on your own that is due the following week. Some weeks have starter code others must be built from scratch. It is very effective at teaching how to build from nothing and modify existing code. 

I went to MSU to learn how to fix our website and have found my one passion in life, being a web developer. 

Advice for new students or people thinking about enrolling? Follow the schedule, utilize the resources like office hours, tutoring, especially the resources the teacher will share in Slack as well as the weekly emails from the Student Success Advisor, those all contain REALLY good information that helped me learn. Work with the other students, we have a dedicated channel and server just to our class to ask each other for help and/or answer questions, learn in a variety of ways, watch videos, read docs, muscle memory, write examples, etc. Do not get overwhelmed! I tried to stay ahead of the challenges (assignments) and spend that 20 hours a week outside of class reading, researching, learning. I know it is a LOT but it you can change your entire life in 6 months with this incredible class from MSU.
