Doing the Basecamp data science bootcamp was a gerat decision, because it brought me a long way in the space of only two months and I am so much more confident with data and machine learning now. This is all thanks to the patience and encouragement of Juraj and the other mentors. Topics were taught by experts in their respective fields and were taught in an engaging way. Even though some of the topics were difficult to grasp, Juraj went out of his way to make sure we understood the most important points. I really enjoyed it and I have taken so much away from the experience.

I have completed 2 certificate programs at Noble Desktop in NYC - a 90-hour front-end web design certificate that included classes in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery, HTML email, Photoshop for web and UI, and mobile and responsive web design. No more Dreamweaver and WYSIWYG, this is all coding! The second certificate built onto the first, and added a 30-hour back-end web development program which included PHP and MySQL and WordPress.org. I learned tons, and the teachers were excellent. The coursebooks are such a valuable tool to use with my projects, and being able to take additional classes live online makes it easy to keep learning. I was able to code a WordPress theme from scratch with what I learned form the WordPress.org class, and was even asked to speak at this past summer's Wordcamp NYC. The instructors know their stuff, and really make learning fun. Nothing is rushed, and they take time to answer all questions. And having the option to re-take a class is also great. These courses were a very worthwhile investment - would recommend to anyone. 

Received FLAG company's offer after training with Guo, Jacky and Kailin. They have been extremely helpful and responsible designing and teaching customized courses including SQL and PYTHON, and the course in preparation for behavior questions. I graduated from US top 50th University with dual bachelor degrees but, after 2 years of working at a startup company, I still feel like there is a distance between my ability and the real industry job descriptions. After understanding of my situation, Jacky and Kailin designed and customized the course as they did for each applicant, setup training schedule for each week and provided training materials with pertinence(eg. window functions in SQL, A/B testing in Python, thinking process during the interview). Guo is very reliable keeping you on track as he organzied meeting weekly for applicants sharing our feedbacks after interviews and practice leetcodes together. I feel much more confident during the interview as my abilities got huge improved during each week's 1on1 training and group studies. Overall it was a great outcome and I would definitely recommend taking this course if you are seeking for an analyst opportunity.

Before enrolling in the bootcamp at Danger Education, I was working as an AML analyst at a small to medium-sized Chinese bank.
