December saw a shakeup for Online Program Managers (OPMs) with the shuttering of a major player in the university bootcamp space. The Dole Act (which includes funding for VET TEC) cleared the Senate, so there’s hope that VET TEC funding will again be available in 2025. edX, one of the largest OPMs, shuttered its university boot camps in order to shift focus to micro-credential courses.
