Circuit Stream offers two live online bootcamps: XR Development with Unity (10 weeks) and XR Project Accelerator (8 weeks). All Circuit Stream bootcamp students will participate in weekly classes and will also receive weekly one-on-one sessions of focused time with an instructor to develop their own VR or AR project.
XR Development with Unity is a project-based bootcamp where students will learn tools, processes, and workflows for a foundation in XR design and development. The curriculum covers C#, animations, UI, VR mechanics, 3D interactions and physics, and how to design VR experiences. Each week of the bootcamp includes one hour of one-on-one mentorship.
XR Project Accelerator bootcamp students will learn to build XR applications with industry experts. The bootcamp is split into four labs, each with its own GitHub repository. XR Project Accelerator bootcamp students will also receive access to the Circuit Stream platform for hosting and distributing projects. Each week of the bootcamp includes three hours of one-on-one mentorship. The bootcamp culminates in a capstone project, which allows students to showcase their skills in a professional XR application.
No prior experience is necessary to join the XR Development with Unity bootcamp. The XR Project Accelerator is intended for graduates of the Circuit Stream XR Development with Unity bootcamp or applicants with experience developing AR or VR applications with Unity and familiarity with C#. XR Project Accelerator candidates will be asked to answer qualifying questions and complete a design document describing their project, its hardware, and any desired goals to be accomplished during the bootcamp. Applicants who have not yet built a project may still participate. They will be asked about their goals and a future project they would like to build. Bootcamp students are not required to have a VR or AR device.
XR Development with Unity bootcamp graduates will receive a certificate in XR Development and access to the Circuit Stream alumni network. Bootcamp students will also have the opportunity to earn Unity certifications as a Certified Associate Programmer, Artist, and VR Developer.
