Claim Academy is a 3-month developer coding and software training bootcamp in St. Louis that offers 12-week to 20-week classes in full stack Java, C#/.NET, Javascript, and Cybersecurity analysis. Claim Academy is approved to operate by the State of Missouri Department of Higher Education to train IT professionals. Students can apply with with little to no programming experience, but should be prepared for an in-person or webcam interview, and should complete the Introduction to Java Course through Teachable before the first day of class.

Throughout the three-month bootcamp, students complete pair programming, work with mentors and instructors, and produce a coding final project, which they present to potential employers and other interested parties on demo day. New classes are offered every 6 weeks.

Upon graduation, the team at Claim Academy helps place graduates in companies as Full Stack Software Developers in Java and .Net software development. Claim Academy graduates have been hired into major companies like Daughtery Business Solutions, Carfax, Technology Partners, Centene Corporation, Clearent, and OneSpace.

    cybersecurity program

0 support after graduation. they claim that they teach you python, ethical hacking, application security. this is all false. you touch base on them but you will leave without a base level understand of any of it. they cannot teach it because they do not have labs. the amount of turn over in this company is insane as well. nothing but empty promises and them being a little bit richer after the fact.

Full Stack C# at Claim Academy

I had no regrets choosing Claim Academy, my over all experience was challenging and rewarding. Their instructors were very good at what they do, I started this course from having little to no experience at all to being able to create a web application. All the staff were very nice and very helpful and will provide you with resources to help you with your project and finding a job as well as your soft skills.

Instrumental Step Toward a Tech Career

Claim Academy’s strength is surely the staff. The Java instructors are accomplished, industry leaders who ensure we’re learning the right things. They often go above and beyond the call of duty. Kenn Juma’s generous guidance, for example, helped me complete a project I was really proud of. My mentor, Alex Duncan, was such a huge resource and had a knack for making new concepts click. I graduated into a tough job market, but staff members like Lynn Kuhlmann and Olivia Bury were invaluable...

Coding can be a tough. It takes a lot of practice and determination to figure out solutions to technical problems and learn how to use them creatively. Claim Academy gave me the tools and confidence to create wonderful looking and functional web applications.

    Literally changed my life

We've all heard of the saying Rome was not built in a day. I firmly believe that Claim Academy has brought this vision to life within myself and numerous other graduates.

From Day 1 the course was challenging and intense, from the early start in the morning to the late nights reading and immersing myself in C#. Class was usually done after a few small coding challenges in the morning, with lectures and hands on coding challenges with instructors in the afternoons, followed by stu...

    Full Stack developer course

Awesome!  Claim Academy teaches students many new skills along with the basic programming.  By the time you are finished, you will have gained so much knowledge, you will not believe it.  At the end, you will be able to create a full stack a web application that has “real world” applications. Depending on which course you choose, you will probably also learn, Java, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, Spring Framework, Bootstrap, Node.js, MySQL, Testing, Maven, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, React, Hibe...

    Fast paced quick learning environment

It's a very fact paced curriculum and is split up into different blocks. The first part of the day is going over exercises and reviewing the previous day's lecture. The day is capped off with the lecture. Throughout the course employers and alumni come by to give presentations, to help network. Near the middle of the course they teach soft skills and resume building, along with mock interviews. Best of all they take the GI Bill, so as a veteran it didn't cost me anything to attend.

3 months of stress, hard work, frustration, then understanding and amazement upon learning and doing. Be prepared to work hard. Overall, it’s worth it. But don’t expect it to be handed to you. It’s 12 weeks of self sacrifice and dedication, so only attend if you’re willing to do just that.  I can not say enough good about Lamar, Praneeth, and Hiram. They are excellent teaching instructors who really know their stuff. To this day, I can still message Lamar with a que...

    Overall a really good experiance

If you're looking for a challenging environment where you can go from little to no coding experience, to developing your own application in under 12 weeks, this is the place to go. The 12-week courses are very dense, move very quickly,  but between the instructors, studying with your cohort,  and the mentors who are available during the day, I think almost anyone can make it through this program.
