I started the Software Engineering career track with Springboard in September of 2023 and completed it in November of 2024. It took me longer than expected (10-I started the Software Engineering career track with Springboard in September of 2023 and completed it in November of 2024. It took me longer than expected (10-11 months is the expectation) to complete the course since I had to balance my schedule with a full time job with work related travel and many life events but the Springboard team was very accommodating and allowed me to finish in a timeline that worked for my situation.
I already work in software as a business systems analyst but taking the software engineering track was valuable for me because it helped me get more in depth knowledge in the technical side of my work and a deeper understanding of what the developers on my team work through day to day. The course material in Springboard provided me a good technical baseline to continue my education in software because it gave me a good principled understanding of software development and how current web based applications generally work.
Despite some of the technologies and frameworks being taught in the course not being the latest and most popular in the industry, the understanding gained from this bootcamp allowed me to explore and pick up new technologies very quickly because it gave me a good foundational understanding of how web applications work. So I would recommend not reading into which languages/frameworks are being taught in Springboard as a detractor from taking this course. The material is of high quality and Colt Steeles videos are very easy to follow and well planned out.

The quality of the training program is unbeatable. The professionals who make up the teaching staff are of the highest level, both as teachers and as human beings. The kindness and closeness, as well as the positivism in the low moments of such an intense experience, have made that, time after, I still feel moved when I remember them. Moreover, the on-site experience of the course has been crucial for me. I could not imagine it in any other format. The quality of the transmission of the contents, as well as the coexistence with the teaching team and the rest of my classmates, both in my course and those of WebDev and Data Analysis, would not have been of such a high level and would not have exceeded my expectations if it had not been in a face-to-face format. I highly recommend this formula. It feels like a summer camp and you feel it when you leave, but in this case you don't just take friends for life, you change your professional life forever. I miss you all!

First of all, I have a great support system at home that allowed me to focus 100% on this course for 4 months. I was able to take a recourse to prepare me for the full-time program.
The first month was HARD. I thought I was going to give up. The assignments are fast, and I spent all of my free time studying. It was difficult not to compare where I stood to others in my class. At my toughest moment, I reached out to my Career Services Manager and my TA. They both helped encourage me and offer support when I needed them.
I would say the most important take-aways for those looking to join the bootcamp: Make sure you have a support system. Don't compare yourself to others in the class. Stay dedicated and find the motivation behind why you're doing this.
Coding Dojo has great resources throughout the course, that continue on for 6 months after you graduate. There is also an option to pay more for a yearly alumni pass.

I finished my short boot camp two years ago and their staff is still interested in helping me find a career. The classes are well taught, and the instructors truly go out of their way to help the students both by meeting 1 on 1 as well as hosting workshops to teach interview practice tips. Many of the instructors have made a positive impact on me including, but not limited to, Travis, Sarah, Grayson, Daniel, and Yessica. The tech residency program, while intense, it was an incredible experience that taught me about how to build an app with a team and meet deadlines. What I learned during the tech residency could not have been learned without participating in the program. Kim Wood is an extremely knowledgeable career coach and she helped me a ton when it came to my interview process. The instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. A few things to consider if you're thinking about enrolling at Fullstack... Start studying for your Security+ ASAP and be prepared to study outside of class hours. My two goals when starting this course were to have Sec+ completed and a job lined up for when I graduated. Both of those goals have been accomplished, I actually got my job offer 3 days before graduation! I know most everyone who reads these reviews wants to know whether or not they will get a job and I'm confident to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it. The only downside I can think of with this bootcamp would be that my cohort was over 70 students which made it a bit tough to get 1 on 1 time with the instructors and to have your personal questions answered. However, there are mentors in the cohorts in which they provide outside class office hours that you can attend to ask any questions if you can spare any time outside the course itself. Lastly, start focusing on LinkedIn and building connections. This is how I found out, applied and got my job so I cannot stress enough how important LinkedIn is. Also, NO I did NOT have prior tech/cybersecurity experience before this bootcamp either. I started from scratch!

I am in an IT group on Facebook and a lot of the members stated that the curriculum they get through their degree programs doesn't prepare them because they don't extensively get to participate in hands on labs. The instructors are real world experienced individuals at Claim Academy, and are very knowledgeable. They are truly invested in the success of the students. I have recommended the program to so many of my friends.

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. I didn't know what they meant at the time and I questioned everything. Coming from Retail Management as working background with zero experience in the Tech world the Bootcamp was quite intense as well as overwhelming for me throughout the whole 12-week course. A lot of new information was thrown at us every day, and the next day built on the previous one. Apart from the 10-6 daily schedule, I had to grind lots of extra hours of self-studying in order to keep up with the course. But at some point, everything started coming together and the puzzle started becoming more concrete. It's a GREAT program - for everyone - regardless of their background, whether they are coders or non-coders. The teachers and TA are very knowledgeable. They are extremely friendly and patient. The teachers taught me how to code but also how to be patient, be gentle with myself, and work in a team effectively. The management team is polite, friendly, and present. They're always available to help with any issues. The Career Week was very helpful and enlightening in order to help us prepare properly for the job hunt, job interviews, polish our resume and Linkedin profile. I chose Codaisseur mainly for the "No cure- no pay" model that they offer, as tuition fees can be quite stressful while trying to find a job as a junior developer. All and all, I am 100% satisfied with my choice as I found my first job as a Junior API Engineer 5-weeks after my graduation. If you're on the fence (just like me in the beginning) and wondering if you should take Codaisseur Bootcamp or not, please do yourself a favor – take a leap of faith – and GO FOR IT! Be prepared, be ready and enjoy the ride!!
