He de remarcar que llegue de Málaga sin mucha confianza en el curso, pero me lleve una gran sorpresa y antes de terminar la primera semana ya sabía que había elegido el mejor camino que podía seguir. Y ahora no volveré para Málaga.

En resumen, profesionales, una gran familia que te ayuda y te apoya a sobrellevar los días más difíciles y con mayor nivel de estrés.

A few months ago I was looking for a bootcamp to start with my dev journey. I visited and studied different options here in Barcelona and finally after the admission test/interviews I had to choose between two academies (Codeworks and Skylab Coders). I put all my money in Skylab because of the teacher experience and the class schedule (amount of hours / day) and really I can't be more happy with the results.
I've met a lot of teachers in my life (an engineering career, two masters and different training courses), but just a few of them I can remember for been really good in what they do. I can say that Juan Ma (Skylab lead professor) is part of that tiny list now. He keeps things "simple", push you forward and keeps you focus through all the course.
Off course, he is not alone, Alex, David and Manuela will also give you support through all the bootcamp, they will make you feel like home. Skylab it's like a little family and I can't recommend it enough, you won't be disappointed.

Skylab is a " show me your code and explain me how it ticks " kind of coding bootcamp. Real developers know their code inside-out and can understand other's code is something I learned here and I'm more than happy with the 10 awesome weeks. Juanma, the lead instructor, is an like an encyclopedia of web development knowledge. His understanding of javascript, his ways of teaching, how he understands where and what you are doing wrong and how should you approach a problem is something out of this world. My companions were one of the most friendly, hard-working and similar minded people who strived for the same goals everyday - to be better as a person and as a team together. The environment to study was very peaceful and the mini coffee and lunch breaks we had together was enjoyable. A perfect combination of affordable price, awesome teaching team, great management, cool friends and study materials.

After a rather long professional career, I realized that I was not happy with what I had achieved and I decided to turn my professional career around. Since I was interested in new digitization technologies, I began to prepare myself by taking courses on online platforms. Soon, I realized that if I ever wanted to find a job as a developer, I had to put all my efforts into this new project, and that it would not be enough if I only dedicated a few hours a week to code. Therefore, I decided to leave my current job and look for the best possible online training that would allow me to combine the studies with my family life. Following a recommendation from someone very knowledgeable in the world of web programming, I asked for information to ISDI Coders about their courses. I immediately realized it was the perfect fit. A full online web development bootcamp with the best trainers that allowed me to learn the latest technologies and good programming practices. The results could not have been better. After +16 weeks of intense work I managed to finish the bootcamp and only 3 months later I got my first job as a web developer! ISDI Coders was the perfect academy to help me on achievie my dream!

Después de visitar varios bootcamps en Barcelona,  Skylab (Isidi Coders) tenía una energía especial y no me equivoqué. De las mejores decisiones que he tomado. 
Un equipo fantástico, super profesionales y GRANDES PERSONAS!  
Duro? Durísimo (PER ASPERA)! En mi trayectoria laboral he estado en varios sectores pero lo experimentado en el bootcamp no me había pasado nunca,  sobre todo aprender a gestionar la frustración.  
Ya sabemos que con 11 semanas no terminas sabiéndolo todo en programación, pero sales con las mejores bases, buenas prácticas y un código limpio. Preparados para aspirar a cualquier posición (AD ASTRA). 
Trabajando ya como front-end developer, solo puedo dar las GRACIAS a David, Diana, Gilberto, Mario, Gerard y todos los profesores asistentes que hicieron posible este cambio laboral en mi vida.    

ISDI has definitely been a memorable life experience. Once you start the program, you will have to face your limits day after day after day... and that's the key to its success.
The school provides you with the best tools, teachers and professional advices which, if you are willing to put the right effort, will transform you into a web developer in just a few months!
The human aspect is a big part of the experience. You will be facing daily challenges which will probably overcome you, but you will be able to count on the support of 20+ classmates in your same situation. Shortly you will understand the importance of helping each other and you will end up making some really cool human connections.
If you are looking for an educational experience that can transform your professional path in a really short time, then ISDI is definitely the right choice!

Growing up I did not have any computer in my household. In the university I barely handled Word or Powerpoint. 

Later things got a little better, but the point is that I doubted that ISDI Coders could really convert me into a good web developer in such a short time. I was mistaken. 

Their demanding and challanging program changes lives and I am a living proof. 

After finishing the program it took me about a month in the middle of the summer to find a job as a developer.  

Moreover, thanks to ISDI Coders, I found friends and a community of like-minded people. 

They are highly-professional, they are up to date with the latest industry trends, they give you knowledge and skills to become a good developer. 

The experience is very challenging, especially if you come with no prior tech-related knowledge like myself. ISDI Coders provides everything for you to grow rapidly and you have to take it and absorb it all you can. The hardest thing for me was to not have social life during those 3 months, I barely saw my husband and kids,  but at the end it all was totally worth it...

The best professional decision I’ve taken so far. In only three months they managed to form me with all the knowledge needed to start my career as a web developer and more. If you are a hard worker, you like programing and team working it’s on you soft skill set, ISDI Coders it’s a must go. 

 

After completing the bootcamp, it only took me three weeks to complete the process of finding job (I must mention that I was able to choose between two companies).

 

To sum this up, you’ll be putting your life in pause while you do it, it’s hard and it’ll ask a lot from you (it’s a bootcamp after all) but if you keep your goal in mind, if you trust the passionate and professional team of ISDI Coders, and last but not least, if you work and bond with your study buddies, by the end of it you’ll have a set of skills that are beyond the default junior developer.
