For those with stellar communication skills and a willingness to learn, technical sales can be an excellent career path with unlimited room for growth. But how can you get your foot in the door at a tech company with no sales experience? A reputable tech sales bootcamp can be the ticket to helping beginners (and even those with some experience already) learn the skills you need. We always suggest looking for bootcamps that offer live instruction or mentorship, an up-to-date curriculum, and dedicated career coaching. These 4 tech sales bootcamps supply that level of support, plus guaranteed apprenticeships or job guarantees! Recent alumni share their on-the-ground experiences in these job guarantee tech sales bootcamps like Fuel Sales Academy, Hyrise Academy, Sales Platoon, and Vendition Sales Bootcamp.
➡️ Pro-Tip: Tech sales bootcamp job guarantees are a bit different from coding bootcamp job guarantees. A typical coding bootcamp student applies, is accepted, completes the bootcamp training, then gets hired. Whereas a typical sales bootcamp student applies, is accepted, is placed with a partner company, and is trained while on the job for 2-3 months. The job guarantee can occur sooner in the process for a Sales Bootcamp. |
Applicants who are accepted to Fuel Sales Academy are not charged tuition for the training, and participate in an “Earn While You Learn” program, working on behalf of partner companies (mostly based in EdTech). Students earn hourly pay plus performance incentives. Successful graduates are then matched with vetted tech companies.
Length: 8 weeks part-time

Location: Online or in Kansas City, MO
In a recent review on Course Report, Alexander says, “The great opportunity about Fuel Sales is a paid apprenticeship where you learn the skills and get paid at the same time (a rarity on the market), and that is continually adapting to the marketplace and improving their process to assist in the success of students and graduates. I've received ongoing support through call reviews, weekly role-playing, stand-ups, assisting with onboarding, and training other SDRs representing various ed tech companies.”
Hyrise Academy is based in Germany and successful graduates of the free training program will be matched with tech companies. After landing a job, graduates will continue to receive on-the-job training and coaching for two months.
Length: 12 weeks part-time
Price: Free!
Location: Online, but applicants must speak fluent German (at least C1 level)
In his Course Report review, Sebastian says, “At the end [of the bootcamp], I could choose between 3(!!) remote job offers even before the bootcamp was over — I didn't expect that at all.”
Sales Platoon is an online, 12-week tech sales fellowship designed for transitioning military veterans and military spouses. After six weeks in the program, students will begin an apprenticeship program to gain real world experience. The apprenticeship period is 12-52 weeks long. Sales Platoon works with employers to place successful graduates.

Camara says in a Course Report review, “Sales Platoon is an incredible resource for any military member leaving Active Duty service. The number of tools I received to help not only with a sales career, but any career AND ways to maximize your life for success is innumerable.”
After completing the training and a 12-week apprenticeship, students will then be assigned to a partner company to begin work as an SDR. Students will earn $3,000/month while training.

In her Course Report review, Diana writes, “Before coming to Vendition I had been in Tech Sales a few years prior but left the industry. I wanted to get back into it and found it so difficult to even land an interview because my experience wasn't recent enough. Vendition helped match me with a great company that gave me a chance and enabled me to get back into tech sales.”
