"I decided to embark on this course because I like technology and I was drawn to the idea of becoming a software developer. I retired as a classical ballet dancer after 20 years and decided to completely change my field of study, which required a tremendous emotional storm. There is so much infrastructure around that will help you succeed, but you have to be willing to put in the hours (and endure some mental strain). As a retired ballet dancer who was used to moving and exercising for over 8 hours a day, in terms of mental effort, this bootcamp was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life: and I would do it again if I had to. I enjoyed every second of it."

Centriq Cybersecurity boot camp will teach you how to build and configure virtual machines, analyze security protocols, device security and management. You will use real life scenarios to complete projects. The school will work with you from anywhere to ensure you achieve your dream career in IT. I will recommend Centriq to anyone who is starting with little or no knowledge in IT. 

Can absolutely recommend this program if you are interested in getting into Ed Tech sales and see yourself working with schools and school districts (bringing them up-to-date technology). First week is going to be theory and role plays. All coaches are super positive, encouraging and supportive. You will do a lot of homework - but it is worth it. Starting from the second week you are basically diving into real Ed tech SDR full-time job life through working for one of the partner companies - with meetings, coaching/mentorship, prospecting etc. As for me - I can’t imagine better start, I was in Hillary’s team and she is amazing (truly cares her team members grow and succeed), I was getting all needed attention, knowledge and support. Teammates - positive and supportive (If I needed something and couldn’t do/find it as a beginner - someone from the team was ready to help). As a result - I’ve got knowledge of need-based SaaS sales, learned Salesforce/Salesloft/Wingman, got experience in sequencing, adding/qualifying leads, cold calling (64+ calls per day), having conversations with prospects, leaving voicemails, working with emails and appointments setting. Trainings with Maurice and Hilary were useful and inspiring. Thank you, all Fuel Sales team for such an opportunity!

I started LC101 in October 2018 and was placed in an apprenticeship as a full stack developer on the last day of September, 2019. After the 6 month apprenticeship I was hired as a full stack developer.

LC101 met 3 hours, 2 days per week for 6 months but required 15 hours or more work outside of class to keep up with the workload. After LC101 I attended Liftoff, a 2 month LaunchCode program to get you ready for interviews, help with building a portfolio and a resume. After Liftoff, I was accepted into the apprenticeship program. LaunchCode got me 2 interviews and on the second, I was hired as a LaunchCode contractor. At the end of 6 months, I was hired as a software developer.

I think that the main takeaway is that this program works but you have to be ready to put in the work if you want results.
