Big Blue Data Academy
Big Blue Data Academy offers a data science bootcamp that can be completed part-time (24 weeks) or full-time (12 weeks). The part-time bootcamp is offered live online, and the full-time Data Science bootcamp is offered either in person or live online. All bootcamp sizes are limited to 20 students.
The data science bootcamp curriculum covers Git, Bash Shell, big data, cloud computing, machine learning, deep learning, visualizations, and interactive dashboards. Bootcamp students will also learn data retrieval, APIs, databases, and web scraping. Students will work on a real-world business project alongside a Big Blue Data Academy partner company for the final four weeks of the bootcamp. This project will be presented to prospective employers at the conclusion of the Data Science bootcamp on career day.
Big Blue Data Academy is open to undergraduates, Bachelor, Master or PhD graduates, and professionals. Applicants should be proficient in math and statistics and have a basic knowledge of Python programming. Applicants should be prepared for an interview with an admissions rep to discuss their technical background and career goals. Forty hours of pre-bootcamp preparation work is required for all accepted students.
Big Blue Data Academy provides career support including workshops on crafting an effective CV and LinkedIn profile, mock technical interviews, and access to career opportunities posted by Big Blue Data Academy collaborators. Lifelong career advice and support as well as access to the Slack community portal are also provided.
Course content is given in English. Greek is used in course instruction. Tuition may be paid in an installment plan. A discount is available for paying tuition fully in advance.

At the end of each course module we were split into teams in order to complete data science projects and present them to the rest of the class. This was a great chance to revise the material of each module, as well as cooperate with our fellow students, again mimicking the way you would function in an actual data science/analytics team. The course material is very well structured making it easy to return to it whenever you need to refresh your knowledge. It is also important to mention that you continue to have access to it, even after you graduate. Throughout the bootcamp we also had courses regarding job assistance. These included how to structure your CV, how to conduct yourself in a phone, in-person or technical interview and much more. Again I would like to mention here that the job assistance part does not conclude at graduation, the stuff and teachers are eager to assist you with any questions or guidance you need even after you graduate. Excellent and Effective way to become Data Scientist!
The Data Science Bootcamp that I have graduated was an intence but extremelly value-given experience. As a student we have worked closely with our excellent instructors, with theory, live-coding and of cource 500 hours of coding ourselves. Lastly, we also excellent job assistance after the bootcamp!

It was a nice experience to participate in the Data Science bootcamp of Big Blue Data Academy. It was an intense, project-based bootcamp, where I learned the latest tools for data analysis in practice. Instructors were well qualified.
