The 52-week part-time Advance Certificate in Computing: Software Development covers an introduction to developing software, ethics in computing, troubleshooting, an introduction to project management, database design fundamentals, relational databases, and an introduction to SQL and mathematics for computing. After finishing the program, students will have developed a range of contemporary computer and software skills that are required by the technology industry.
The 104-week full-time Advanced Diploma in Computing: Software Development covers topics like software development, professionalism and ethics, SQL and database fundamentals, project management, and working within a team. Students have the option to enroll in one of Focus College’s partner universities after completing the program.
The 104-week full-time ITASS bootcamp covers topics like Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, technical implementation of security standards, forensic inspection, ethical hacking, and penetration testing.
The Software Development diploma and certificate programs are meant for students with no experience and the only requirement is English language proficiency and completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent program. The ITASS bootcamp is meant for students with a bachelor’s degree in IT, an equivalent program, or minimum of 2 years experience in the field.
