There are many bootcamp style programs out there for UX, but this one is a cut above. I did a lot of research to select it, and having now graduated, I feel it was well worth it. It was a ton of work, it was hard, but it was impactful and a very fun experience. It was definitely one of the most intense 12 weeks I've ever endured, truly a full time commitment. The educators are fantastic, and extremely talented designers with complimentary skillsets. I feel I have a very solid foundation ...
There are many bootcamp style programs out there for UX, but this one is a cut above. I did a lot of research to select it, and having now graduated, I feel it was well worth it. It was a ton of work, it was hard, but it was impactful and a very fun experience. It was definitely one of the most intense 12 weeks I've ever endured, truly a full time commitment. The educators are fantastic, and extremely talented designers with complimentary skillsets. I feel I have a very solid foundation to go forward and continue to develop the skills taught in the program towards being an employed designer. The field moves quickly, and I felt the material was current and industry relevant. I think the impression I was given was that I would have all the skills required to be ready to apply for jobs immediately after finishing the program, but I'm not sure thats true, and I don't think thats a bad thing. Take the course, get a great education - It is (in my opinion) the most efficient path to being able to call yourself a designer, but know that there is more work that you should expect to do before being ready to apply for positions.

Great framework for making the switch to UX
I had done a lot of research before taking this bootcamp and am glad that it seems to have paid off so far. I truly believe that you get out of any bootcamp what you put in, and I ensured that I did extra activities before starting the bootcamp to make the most out of it. The instructors were great, approachable and provided relevant industry experience. I can't comment on the Job assistance criteria yet as I have yet to enter the industry, but there are frequent career workshops. However, I believe that the onus is ultimately on the student to be proactive in networking and making connections throughout the bootcamp.

TLDR: Come prepared and take advantage of the resources provided, and you will develop a good fundamental base to start off in the UX field.

I would say this was probably the hardest thing I have done in a while but certainly the most fulfilling. The bootcamp really provides you with the fundamentals you need to succeed in the real world.

Brain Station - UX Design
I completed the Brain Station Course in the New York location, I am very happy with the knowledge I am able to take away from this course. From the beautifully decorated loaction to my amazing instructors Erin and Emma to the 5 star hot chocolate! One factor to understand is that you have to do your own homework once you leave, the tools for success are certainly there regardless. Very happy with my time at Brain Station! Thank you so much.

Manage yourself well
It was good. I think my main criticism is that there didn't seem to be much oversight; instructors didn't care whether I did the homework or not. That's natural in an online environment; it's on you, the student, to hold yourself accountable and manage your own learning. I tried hard to keep up with it but ultimately fell behind. I think I would have done better if I had budgeted time to do the homework earlier, and reach out to the instructors for help.

It's not just the COURSE, it's the NETWORK!
I selected BrainSation Data Science Bootcamp because I enjoyed working with Data, Machine Learning and AI. I visited the Vancouver campus and I enjoyed the vibe here. I chose BrainStation for a few reasons:

- The instructors like Borna G. and Fallyn J. have deep technical backgrounds in Data Science, patience and passion for teaching. The TA, Aarati, had a Ph.D. in Engineering and was a student from past cohorts.

I selected BrainSation Data Science Bootcamp because I enjoyed working with Data, Machine Learning and AI. I visited the Vancouver campus and I enjoyed the vibe here. I chose BrainStation for a few reasons:
- In-person
- The instructors like Borna G. and Fallyn J. have deep technical backgrounds in Data Science, patience and passion for teaching. The TA, Aarati, had a Ph.D. in Engineering and was a student from past cohorts.
- Many students in my cohort have years of working experience and have Master's degrees.
- The network I can connect with during the Bootcamp and after is worth every penny.

The difference between a Bootcamp and college/university is that most of the students here are working professionals, and many have lots of experience, money and connections. These details are important.

The Bootcamp gave me a foundation in Data Science so I can dive in and get more expertise in the field that I want to. I know now how to Google the right topic and understand StackOverflow. I know understand Price Prediction, AI like ChatGPT and ML. I can't believe I can learn and know that much within 3months of studying.

The Bootcamp is not perfect and there are some adjustments should make to the curriculum especially during the last weeks when we have capstone. Some of the heavy topics such as Reinforcement Learning and Flask should be taught after the capstone when students are in a better state of mind.

I wrote this review during the last week of class and I have not had any job assistance yet (post-grad) so I can't give a review about job assistance.

Great introduction to Product Management
I really enjoyed this course, and the instructors were awesome. They really devoted a lot of time to discussion of the topics and provided real world examples. The other students in my class were also really insightful about their own experiences and this contributed to to the healthy learning environment.

A downside to this is that we didn't have time to cover all of the material, so I would suggest to the instructors to plan the courses a bit better to accommodate time for both...
