The course could use more practice problems with solutions available to compare your answers. The instructor I had was not very engaged in the course as they were doing it as a side job. They did not come prepared to class and we had a lot of silent moments when they had to fix or solve something. We also heard "let me google that" a lot, which just shows how the instructor did not prepare the class ahead of time. Additionally, the instructor was not very skilled at explaining concepts. ...

I recently had the incredible opportunity to take the Product Management course with Instructors Stacy and Matthew, and let me tell you, it was absolutely phenomenal! Stacy's expertise and enthusiasm were simply infectious. Her ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable pieces made the course a breeze to follow. And Matthew's real-world experiences as a product manager added a practical and relatable touch that brought the material to life. The course content was comprehensive and well-structured, with relevant case studies and interactive exercises that kept me engaged throughout. From nothing to a plan.
The mix of in-person lessons and Brainstation's digital education platform was perfect for me. In-person classes fostered open discussion, and the tutors could more easily share personal anecdotes, while the digital element allowed me to easily refer back to all of the previous lessons when I hit a snag, or even have a quick look at the next week's lesson to get a head start on some of the concepts. Great platform and knowledgeable teachers, I highly recommend it.

Great introductory course
Over the course of 8 weeks, our experienced teachers taught us what product management entails, using examples from their extensive careers. The lessons were highly interactive and the whole group was engaged. Having to submit a final project really helps you practice what you learn over the course of the lessons.

The Data Analytics class was an incredibly fun learning experience. The course covered database structures, SQL, Tableau and some basic presentation skills. All in all, it felt like a solid starting point in data analytics. The instructor was knowledgeable, approachable and fun to be around, and always available to clarify concepts and answer questions.

The Data Analytics class was an incredibly fun learning experience. The course covered database structures, SQL, Tableau and some basic presentation skills. All in all, it felt like a solid starting point in data analytics. The instructor was knowledgeable, approachable and fun to be around, and always available to clarify concepts and answer questions.
The class structure was mostly well-organized, with a mix of lecture and lab content during the sessions supplemented with assignments that had practical application.
However, the pace of the lectures occasionally felt rushed, especially with complex topics. More review of the labs/assignments would have been helpful to improve understanding. However, the latter and more complex exercises generally felt like they were building practical skills.

Overall, I highly recommend the Data Analytics class. It provides a solid foundation and equips learners with the skills to apply basic analytics in real-world scenarios.
