Great Platform for Learning, and Improving

I strongly recommend Coding Dojo. From top to bottom, the students feel well taken care of with resources, instruction, assistance, and career services. From the day I showed interest to the day I graduated, any email for support that I sent received a quick personal response. The learning platform is relevant and updated frequently to make sure the content is accurate and helpful. The assignments and exams are fair and challenging, and there are challenges to ensure that you...

"Corporate" Dojo will get you Terminated/Released

After 3 years of employment with my company I ran into a red flag with my background check. I listed Coding Dojo as education and experience. Cause of the pandemic Chicago Dojo decided to disconnect their phone lines and not be reachable except for email. I tried to avoid an issue by requesting a phone number instead of email. Corporate Dojo also does not have a phone line, but only email. With $15K tuition, they can't afford a phone line? Corporate Dojo is in S...

Hi Kamal, we have reviewed our records and our communications with yourself and the verification firm that your employer used. When contacted by the verification firm, they explicitly requested employment verification. We responded by clarifying no such records existed, providing your educational records, and verifying the accurate dates you attended Coding Dojo.

After we sent the information, you requested that we provide a statement indicating a different timeframe for your enrollment. To provide the statement you requested would have been a purposeful misrepresentation by omittance on Coding Dojo's part, even more evident given that we had already provided them your education documentation stating the start and end dates of your 14 week program. We ultimately denied your request for the separate statement and are not responsible for any employment-related repercussions that may have caused.

    Incredible Coding Boot Camp

Coming into Coding Dojo's boot camp, I only knew HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript. I now can confidently say that I have accomplished learning three full stacks during the 14 weeks I attended the boot camp. The instructors were wonderful, the curriculum allowed us to learn the basics and also challenge us to research additional learning on our own, and the option to have a career services manager drastically helped in my confidence in finding a job afterwards.

    BEST PROGRAM AVAILABLE!

The Coding Dojo is one of the most immersive and fun learning experiences I have taken. If you are looking for a career change or simply looking to learn, this course is perfect for you. You will be taught not only the fundamentals of multiple languages but you'll also be taught how to learn and teach yourself some stuff along the way. Being able to teach yourself some things is a great way to feel super accomplished when you get a task completed. Enjoy yourself, never give up and rememb...

    Online curriculum underdeveloped

There are so many other learn-by-doing coding programs with better curriculums and at much lower costs. Unfortunately, this course did not live up to expectations for me. After starting at Coding Dojo I found there were gaps in instructional design and needed to supplement my learning with other programs such as Dataquest and Udacity which meant spending more money. These other programs were able to provide “the why” and “when” for writing the code. Coding Dojo used the same curriculum t...

Hi Wajih, we are very sorry to hear about your negative experience. We never are shy about the difficulty or quick pace of our program, but it is indeed designed for beginners or anyone interested in getting started in tech. The vast majority of our students do graduate and go on to great careers in tech, but the program is not for everyone. We did allow you to retake the Web Fundamentals stack, and eventually honored your request to withdraw from the program.

    Recent Coding Dojo Graduate

The Coding Dojo experience was exceptional! I had no prior experience with coding prior to entering the full-time online bootcamp, which wasn't a problem given their well thought out curriculum and course roadmap. All the instructors I had were outstanding. They truly want each student to feel comfortable/confident with the information being taught. They will spend any extra time needed to help you better understand the material, on top of the instructors being available to you beyond th...

    Online Full Time Review

I recently graduated from Coding Dojo’s Full Time online course late November. I come from a tech background but came into this boot camp with little coding experience, just some basic java knowledge.
Going into the bootcamp I was intimidated by the amount of assignments and new information that was given to us. Luckily for the students, Coding Dojo’s instructors and TA’s are amazing! Whenever I was lost and did not understand a concept, the instructor and TAs a...
