Sebelum ikut program ini, aku sering bingung saat ngoding dan merasa stuck saat harus analisis data. But after learning at Course-Net, my skills improved significantly. Sekarang aku jadi lebih lancar menggunakan Google Colab, Jupyter, dan berbagai tools analisis data lainnya. Not only that, my critical thinking and analytical skills have sharpened a lot.

Awalnya aku sama sekali ga ada niatan untuk terjun ke dunia data science karena menurut aku bidang ini terlalu rumit. But after being accepted into the SIB program at Course-Net, my perspective completely changed. This program made me fall in love with data science because it's so exciting and challenging! Selama belajar, aku ga cuma dapetin ilmu data science, tapi juga banyak konsep penting lainnya. Seperti belajar algoritma dengan Dev-C++, OOP dengan OBS Studio, dasar-dasar networking pakai Cisco Packet Tracer, sampai SQL yang ternyata berguna banget buat analisis data.

All of this knowledge I gained at Course-Net with guidance from experienced and knowledgeable mentors. “Cool, Think Smarter, and Be Mindful"-three things that immediately came to my mind after joining Course-Net! Through the Batch 7 Independent Study Independent Campus program, I chose the Cyber Security Specialist path and had an amazing learning experience.
The material provided is really structured, starting from basics such as Algorithms using C++ and Java, Networking, to Database Management. However, what amazed me the most were the core topics, such as security penetration testing and digital forensics, which are two worlds that opened my eyes to the complexity of digital security.

The Live Coaching sessions were the main highlight! Where I usually only see great coaches on social media and I would love to learn from them, and this Independent Study program gave me the opportunity to learn directly from the experts. The coaches not only share knowledge but also guide us to think like a professional hacker. How they analyzed the challenges of the cyber world, their creative thinking, and their strategies really inspired me. I felt like I was invited into the mind of a cybersecurity expert, making me constantly reflect and evaluate my hacking skills.

Initially, I felt quite confused when I received several MSIB partner offers. However, my belief in CourseNet's quality, which has been proven by various international awards, especially in cybersecurity, made me firmly choose this partner. That decision turned out to be incredibly right.

During the MSIB program at CourseNet, I gained a very enjoyable and valuable learning experience. Moreover, the presence of a mentor, Coach Arry Wiandana, provided me with invaluable support, especially when facing difficulties. One of the most exciting aspects of this program was the opportunity to apply theory to practice through various projects. For example, in the CEH project, I was tasked with configuring servers, performing port scanning, and exploiting system vulnerabilities. This experience not only strengthened my understanding of cybersecurity concepts but also enhanced my problem-solving skills. Subsequently, in the CHFI project, I was responsible for taking on the role of a forensic investigator. By analyzing the "Lonewolf" file, I successfully identified various digital evidence that could be used to uncover the case. This investigative process was very challenging, but I was very satisfied with the results I achieved. The investigation report I compiled also met all the specified criteria. 

One of the most memorable things was the opportunity to learn with friends from various universities across Indonesia. Through this program, I not only gained new knowledge but also expanded my network of friends. I am confident that the connections formed will be very beneficial in the future.

The experience of participating in the MSIB program at CourseNet has opened my eyes to the importance of cybersecurity. I feel more prepared to face challenges in the workforce, especially in the cybersecurity field. The knowledge and skills I have gained will be very useful for me in building a career in the future. Pengalaman Belajar saya di program Cyber Security Specialist melalui Kampus Merdeka Studi Independen di Course-Net adalah salah satu pengalaman belajar yang paling berharga dalam hidup saya. Dalam modul CHFI ini, saya belajar tentang proses penyelidikan forensik digital, yang sangat penting untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengumpulkan bukti dari perangkat yang terlibat dalam insiden keamanan. Salah satu momen paling berkesan adalah ketika saya melakukan analisis terhadap image disk (salinan dari data komputer) dan menggunakan alat seperti Autopsy untuk memulihkan data dan jejak digital. Proses ini membutuhkan ketelitian yang tinggi, dan saya merasa semakin terampil dalam menangani bukti digital. Materi CHFI ini mengajarkan saya bagaimana mengidentifikasi potensi ancaman, melacak aktivitas pengguna melalui log dan metadata, serta melindungi integritas bukti selama proses investigasi. Saya juga belajar betapa pentingnya pendekatan yang terstruktur dan sistematis dalam forensik digital, yang sangat bermanfaat dalam dunia profesional.Selama program, sesi mentoring yang rutin sangat membantu saya untuk terus berkembang. Mentor-mentor yang berpengalaman selalu memberikan masukan berharga dan solusi atas tantangan yang saya hadapi. Salah satu aspek terbaik dari program ini adalah kualitas pengajaran yang sangat baik. The LMS was well-organized, easy to navigate, and packed with resources that enriched my understanding. Surprisingly, the materials offered were very detailed and comprehensive, allowing me to discover many new things I had never encountered before.  Even though there were times when I felt burned out by the challenges I faced, I was still excited to learn this. This program combined theory and hands-on practical sessions, which not only deepened my understanding of the concepts but also allowed me to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios. I learned how to use tools like Nmap and Metasploit and more tools for cybersecurity, which gave me valuable technical skills. Through this program, I have gained new insights and perspectives into the world of cybersecurity. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to study at Course-Net. In the third month, I faced a personal challenge when a family member fell ill, and I had to balance caregiving with my studies. However, I managed to stay on track by using the ITBox LMS to catch up on missed lessons and seeking assistance from fellow participants.Another challenge arose when my thesis work coincided with mentoring sessions. By proactively adjusting my schedule and attending a Google Meet session with my peers, I was able to ensure I didn’t miss out on important discussions and lessons. Despite the occasional technical hiccups—such as issues with storage capacity—I found ways to resolve them by upgrading my laptop and ensuring that I had the necessary resources for the course.Significant Competency DevelopmentThe competencies I’ve developed during this program are far-reaching. From mastering programming logic to gaining hands-on experience in ethical hacking and computer forensics, the program has provided me with an in-depth understanding of critical fields in cybersecurity. My skills in using tools like FTK Imager, Autopsy, and Nmap for forensics and vulnerability testing have been significantly enhanced.In addition to the technical skills, I have also grown in terms of presentation and reporting.
