I chose this course because I was intrigued by the idea that we would be doing a project and it would be hands-on. I was hoping that the instructors and classmates would be able to help me shape my digital marketing strategy project, but I felt like their answers were always surface-level. In most cases, the instructor read straight off of the slides. I could get the same education from reading articles and watching YouTube tutorials. The main benefit for me was that it gave me a weekly structure to prompt me to complete my digital marketing strategy for a client.

The course outlined the principles of UX design in a clear way, and gave students access to tools (like Slack and Figma) that were needed to complete the course. The course consisted of 9 3-hour lectures, with a 10th dedicated to final presentations. The two deliverables were a final project, and a mid-term strategy submission that outlined key elements of that final project. The lecturers were clear, knowledgable, and approachable, and slides were made available to us both in advance of the lecture and after. I think future students might benefit if the course structure was shifted to allow for more frequent check-ins on learning progress, and possibly from smaller class sizes (to make this manageable). This course is a great tool for beginners who are looking to learn about UX Design, but for those looking to make an immediate career switch, be advised that there's more work needed after the course ends (particularly when it comes to portfolios).

Simply excellent. The sense of community is what really stood out to me. The bootcamp format is truly tough, but you are well supported throughout the entirety. No such thing as old school tests. You are purely graded on your performance via project submissions.
