I just completed the BrainStation Web Development Course online which was led by Jim Rectenwald and Yathan, SE's at instagram and slack. I took the course to get familiar with HTML and CSS as a UX Designer. My overall experience was positive. The instructors were very approachable, welcome to answering questions, and were responsive to messages. The curriculum itself was well structured so that we could eventually learn how to code a responsive website for our final project by teaching us how to use flexbox, media queries, and modifier classes in stages during class activities every week. Only thing were the slides are a bit confusing to understand but attending class mostly helps. At the end I felt I had a good introduction to HTML and CSS and if I wanted to pursue a career in it, I would want to continue with other courses to further develop my skills.

The curriculum was very comprehensive and relevant to the current job market, which is crucial when investing time and money into a program like this. I appreciated how the program incorporated both theory and practical application, giving us a well-rounded understanding of data science.

One aspect that really stood out to me was the Career Accelerator Program. It was incredibly helpful in providing guidance and support throughout the job search process. Since I actually enrolled in the Brainstation course before getting my job at Kaseya working in IT sales, I still opted to go through with the course and complete it. I am glad I did because the content presented by our great professor, Matthew Lowe, was the perfect supplement while I was getting my own introduction to IT and cybersecurity at my job. I have already recommended it to several of my co-workers.

Wonderful Course
I had tried a bunch of free courses but struggled not having an instructor live to answer any questions I had or show examples. I decided to sign up for Brainstation and i'm very thankful I did. The instructor did a wonderful job explaining different topics and showing many examples. He answered questions very well. I recommend this course for those interested in web development and would like an instructor that able to answer all questions.
