Ironhack offers full-time and part-time bootcamps in Web Development, UX/UI design, Data Analytics and Cyber Security in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), Paris (France) Mexico City (Mexico), Berlin (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Lisbon (Portugal) and remotely. Ironhack uses a customized approach to education by allowing students to shape their experience based on personal goals. Students who graduate from the Web Development Bootcamp will be skilled in technologies like JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. The UX/UI program covers Design Thinking, Photoshop, Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, and JavaScript. Data Analytics covers data wrangling/cleaning, APIs, web scraping, and intermediate topics in Git, MySQL, Python, Data visualization, Panda, and Machine Learning. The Data Analytics program allows students to load, clean, explore and extract valuable insights from datasets and cultivate languages, such as Python, SQL and Tableau. The Cyber Security course provides students with the hands-on skills they need to land a job in the growing cybersecurity industry. In the Cyber Security course, students will develop the most in-demand knowledge to be part of any company's cybersecurity workforce and become a cybersecurity professional.
The admissions process for each program includes an online application, a personal interview, and a technical assessment.
Throughout each Ironhack program, students will get help navigating career development through interview prep, enhancing digital brand presence, and networking opportunities. I couldn't be happier that I made the decision to enroll in the full-time web development program at Ironhack Berlin. I've worked in product design for about 8 years now, and it became more and more apparent how important it is to be technically adept to better collaborate with our engineers. Amazing experience that changed my life
I did the web dev bootcamp at Ironhack Berlin in June 2019. It was definitely the best decision I've made for my career. Wonderful experience
I did the Ironhack in Amsterdam and did the parttime UX/UI course.
At first I was doubting if a bootcamp would be a good thing to do. In the end, I pulled the trigger. Finished yesterday, met great people and learned a lot. I'd highly recommend this programme and here is why:
Pro's:
- The programme is varied. We had 3 UX projects, 3 UI, 1 coding and 1 final project. Sometimes you would be in groups of 4, 3 or 2 and also just by yourself.
- Because of the small group natur...I did the Ironhack in Amsterdam and did the parttime UX/UI course.
At first I was doubting if a bootcamp would be a good thing to do. In the end, I pulled the trigger. Finished yesterday, met great people and learned a lot. I'd highly recommend this programme and here is why:
Pro's:
- The programme is varied. We had 3 UX projects, 3 UI, 1 coding and 1 final project. Sometimes you would be in groups of 4, 3 or 2 and also just by yourself.
- Because of the small group nature of the programme, you get to know everyone and work with almost anyone.
- Our teacher and teaching staff were knowledgeable, caring but also challenging and demanding. You will get feedback. But this will help you grow. And it's always constructive feedback.
- The programme manager and other administrative staff. They were constantly improving the campus. I.e. with new furniture, branding, ping pong table and so much more.
- External speakers and UI workshop were a big thing.
Cons:
- In the beginning their were certain things that did not go well. Small things for instance the online material was a bit different from the class material. Or some supplies were not always restocked. However, we had a retrospective after each project. The teacher would use our feedback and make sure those things and more were improved.
- Corona virus. Our final project had to take place online. Naturally, the school had to be closed and this was out of their hands. The online environment were good and quickly developed. We gave our final presentation online and could not thank the teaching staf in person or receive our certificate.

In short: YES, it works!
I did not have any coding experience and now I can write code to do stuff that I would have never imagined before and I now found my first job in data analytics.

The Bootcamp is composed by one pre-work module and three course modules. Each course module was 3 weeks long with daily classes and hands-on exercises. I have progressively developed knowledge and skills in Python and MySQL programming, applied statistics, data analysis and engineering. I quickly built increasingly complex data applications to collect, transform, analyse and gain insights from different real-world data sources, ultimately applying basics of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
I recommend the Bootcamp to anyone who is seriously dedicated to commit 3 months of his/her time to learn a new set of skills. It is going to be a demanding, challenging, but incredibly rewarding journey, both in terms of hard and soft skills: the more effort you will put in, the more you will get out of it... guaranteed!
I strongly advise you to build some foundations in math and statistics especially, because this is not only about coding, but also also about numbers and logic, a lot! If you are not willing to deal with them, maybe consider a web-dev path.
Also, keep in mind that this is going to be just a first step, for as much solid as it can be. Thus, be prepared to keep investing time in learning, it is never going to stop!
As last, I have to mention that Ironhack Lisbon team is truly amazing and wll always have your back at any time. Finding your first job aftwewards is going to be up to you, but they will support you as much as they can, sharing tips, connections and opportunities (mainly with Portuguese companies).

Great Experience
The web development bootcamp was intense and fun at the same time. The staff, teachers and teaching assistants have a lot of energy and positivity and they managed to pass it down to us.
The learning material was rich and clearly structured and included a very good balance between theory and practice. What I also found really helpful is the fact that there was no grading system, everyone could make up their own goals and decide how much they wanted to push themselves. Terrible experience
I am a bachelor of Computer Science who graduated in 2005 and worked as a software developer for 10 years. After I did an MBA I changed industry for 10 years. Now that I want to get back to the IT industry I realized that many things have changed. For that reason I wanted to join a Bootcamp at IronHack. I started the admission process and the person in charge knows nothing about the field. With only one day available to study I went to the test, they were delayed 1 hour and when I started the test I realized that it was a somehow challenging programming task, nothing to do with the material to study. I managed to solve the problem with my previous knowledge and just missed one of the 5 tasks. The next day the admissions manager wrote me to tell me that I failed the test and that I wasn’t granted the chance to be one of their students! For someone like me with more than 10 years of experience in the software development field that have faced several real life challenges this made me laugh, they saved me money and forced me to start studying some 12 dollar Udemy courses to get in shape again, but that company just lost several thousand dollars because of someone’s wrong decision! For other people that wants to start their software development journey this could become a very damaging experience. This company need to review their admission process, at least in Mexico.
