Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.
Students of the longer bootcamps are prepared for entry-level, Junior web developer jobs. Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to bootcamp students. Nucamp also offers exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates.

I have attended the python fundamentals course and i would like to say it has exceed my expectations.

- The instructor is very seasoned and patient, very good at explaining things and lead us to solve complex problem. And the code review is very detailed and professional.
- I know this is the very first part of the whole bootcamp, however i feel like it is missing some practical element in the curriculum, i would really be interested in how in the real world a project looks like and how programmers are working together. And some insights on how to further develop your python skill for tech interview is always helpful.
- Some of the self study content can be quite difficult and the additional material doesn't seem 100% fit to that specific session.
- Maybe some more hands on code challenges will be useful. So we got to exercise every part of the knowledge we just learned.

Pretty Bad
This was not a good bootcamp. I was in the very first cohort for their "Back End, SQL, and DevOps Developer with Python" BootCamp. It was so bad that they actually emailed us and said that we can retake it at no cost and that they will refund us partially.Stephanie of Nucamp

We're a bit confused here with this review. The very first cohort of the Back End SQL and DevOps bootcamp was about 2 years ago starting over the summer of 2021... was your review in draft mode for the past 2 years? :)

It is fast moving
The bootcamp is moves along very fast, you consume a lot of information in a short time. You really need time to be able to research and spend time with the lessons you've learned. I took the bootcamp route because it was quicker than college. I chose Nucamp, because it was affordable, also it was recommended online for my region. My work schedule is strenuous, so this teaching style can be very difficult. What a journey but I made it!
I have been a Software QA Engineer for a couple of years now (responsible for quality and application testing); but coding, creating stuff from scratch, simply making it work has been fascinating me for quite some time. Besides, developers get a lot of credit for the work they do. ( QA often gets overlooked).
I was looking to learn something new and have been learning JS and FE on my own for a couple of months at that point. My current company offers a yearly stipend for self-develop...I have been a Software QA Engineer for a couple of years now (responsible for quality and application testing); but coding, creating stuff from scratch, simply making it work has been fascinating me for quite some time. There is job assistance, I just haven't used / explored enough of it yet, so I haven't rater it but it seems solid. The main reasons I picked Nucamp over the rest was price, class dates availability and a review on youtube by Don the Developer. I took the Html, Css, Javascript class and I loved it because you had to teach yourself during the week and on the workshop day we would review with the instructor anything we didn't understand. Engaging, Conveniet, Friendly Bootcamp
I have had a very good experience with Nucamp ! The style (part-time, "offline" lessons, weekly online workshops) worked out very well for me. Practice is the best way to learn
I've learned so many new things during my bootcamp through exercises and I have more experience that I've never had before. I manage to fix the problem by doing more research, and gain skill in communication, research, teamwork, self-taught and so on. I've dabbled in python prior to the course but didn't understand the fundamentals well enough and felt I needed some guidance.
