Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.
Students of the longer bootcamps are prepared for entry-level, Junior web developer jobs. Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to bootcamp students. Nucamp also offers exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates.

What led me to enroll was that I simply cannot make myself to sit there and try to learn something on my own time. I need structure and timelines to force me to go through everything and at least make me do an hour of videos and at the minimum 5 minutes of coding every single day. I aspire to continue on with my education and keeping to an hour every single day and at least 5 minutes of coding.

For two years, I've been dabbling with coding by paying for and working through online courses because I want to transition careers. Though I learned some things about web development, I never followed through because life got in the way, plus I didn't feel like I had the right structure to learn. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!! These programs are EXTREMELY outdated, and mostly just copy/paste instruction with little to no explanation. If I could go back in time I would have just burned my money and watched YouTube (would have learned more this way). I have also voiced my concerns to both customer support and the CEO, both have ignored me, or simply offered an opportunity to take the same course over again. This makes no sense. We would also like to correct the points you are making about content freshness since we do not believe it to be accurate.
We are continuously updating our content, and recently upgraded the React and React Native curriculum to the latest React version and updated the codebase to using Hooks.
We are also making many changes to the Python SQL content to make it easier to install. We have been updating the Python and DevOps content a couple of months ago, and are planning to update the Web Development Fundamentals soon as well - not because the content is outdated but because our video production methods have evolved and we'd like to apply them to this bootcamp.
We have full time staff working on updating the content daily, often helped by our instructors as well.
