    Do Not Recommend

Not sure how honest this reporting system is. Hopefully my review doesn't get deleted.

I took the intro web development course with the plan to complete the full stack training through NuCamp. Honestly, I learned more from Udemy courses that I purchased and I wouldn't recommend NuCamp to friends or family. The instructor was largely absent, lacked experience in the field, and struggled understanding/answering basic questions. The website tells you to expect 17.5 hours of content p...

Hello and very sorry about your experience. We make sure that all Instructors are thoroughly vetted during two interviews evaluating their teaching style, and their technical depth. Using the weekly feedback from students we also provide coaching to instructors who need to improve and sometimes have to replace the instructor when the situation doesn't improve. That said the average rating of our instructor is above 4.6 (out of 5) which would indicate your experience was unfortunately an exception, and we'd like to apologize for it.

The core value that Nucamp provides - compared to Udemy - is the support received during the bootcamp, and the career services helping graduates find jobs. The support comes in many ways: the dedicated instructor, students having classmates to work with, and a large and very active Slack community. With this level of support about 70% of students complete the bootcamp, which is much higher than the number of people finishing cheap Udemy courses.

We would love to have you join back to continue your journey with us, as we trust that your next instructor will deliver on your expectations. Please email us at studentadmin@nucamp.co if you are interested.

Lastly yes all the reviews posted here are genuine, none of them are removed. Course Report does not provide a review removal feature to Nucamp.

    Basic, good for begginners

It is a good starting point to learn web dev with nucamp especially you do not know where to start and feeling lost watching tons of tutorials. But it  was not enough time to learn fundamentals of javascript in 2 weeks and i think there should be more exercises and workshops to grasp the subjects. Overall it is good bootcamp for the price.

    I work two Jobs

I choose this Bootcamp because of my work schedule, working two Jobs barely allows me to do anything and the schedule of this Bootcamp fits ideally my experience with the BootCamp has been great I have learned thus far, and just like anything you do it is what you put in is what you get out.

    Best value

Great Bootcamp for the cost we paid, I personally wouldn't learn things that I did here if I was studying on my own and the structure and contents were great. Some of the weeks can be a bit overwhelming and could be split into two or provide more background knowledge to make it easier to digest and a couple of the weeks could use a refresh in Develop course. Overall very satisfied and recommend Nucamp to everyone.

Intro to Python and data structures + algorithms

The cost and flexibility of the bootcamp is what made me enroll. It's a good way to learn coding, though I wish some more complex concepts were taught a bit more in depth

    Python Back End

I was getting jammed up trying to learn python on my own. Especially the Object Oriented Programming. The workshop sand lessons as well as the Portfolio Project gave me the confidence i needed and a deeper understanding of OOP. Very grateful and well worth it.

    Web development fundamentals

If you've been struggling to learn on your own and work full-time Nucamp bootcamps  is ideal because they give you a  balance by providing a structured curriculum, a time frame, mix of self learning, 1 class a week and a community to help throughout your journey.I started with the web development fundamentals to get a feel of the process i can say it's well organised and affordable, if you're a beginner i would say do everything ahead of time so you know what doesn't work and the right q...

    Web Fundamentals

Enrolling in Nucamp was definitely the best decision for me as I enter into the world of coding.  The curriculum and coursework were great and the schedule allowed me to move through the information at my own pace.  The instructor led live course on Saturday's was informative and expanded on the content during the week.  I loved it.  I'm still trying to put the pieces together with all I learned but I feel better each time I look at it.

    Flexible and helpful

What lead me to Nucamp was my search for a new career path. Having a full-time job, I needed something flexible. Along with flexibility I needed a more hands-on approach than just reading instructions online. The videos and weekly workshops were a tremendous help. Nucamp provided me with exactly what I needed to get my feet wet with the Web development fundamentals. I have already signed up for the next course and cannot wait to begin!

    The Web Development Fundamentals

Difficult but fun, the setting was appropriate. JavaScript could have been more predigested so to speak but still satisfied.

    Overall Impression and Review

Overall I would say that the enrollment cost that Nucamp asks for is good for what they provide. The best thing about Nucamp for me was the community. At first, I was skeptical about enrolling in Nucamp since the fee is about 15% of what other bootcamps are offering. I was also worried that there might not have enough interaction between me and my fellow students or the instructor. Turns out, the community on Slack is very active and helpful to one another in solving problems and the ins...
