Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

I had dabbled in coding a few years ago in C# but did not like the backend. I was at a crossroads in life where I was desperate to do something different, and find something that I truly enjoyed doing. I ended up giving the bootcamp a chance because I read somewhere that the front-end and the back-end would net completely different experiences, and it did. Doing Javascript, HTML, and CSS allows me to take advantage of my artisic and creative side and I greatly enjoyed it. Web Fundamentals definitely worth taking!
I looked at bootcamps extensively before deciding on Nucamp, the more I dug into researching them the clearer it was that Nucamp was the right choice. The high reviews and a price point that won't put you in extensive debt. I just completed the fundamentals course and have enrolled for the next round of full-stack. So this review is only on the fundamentals course.
The instructor was friendly, helpful, and available when I needed them. The instructor was friendly, helpful, and available when I needed them. In addition to the in-person Saturday workshop, the instructor also hosted a Sunday zoom meeting for anyone needing further assistance with their workshop project, and a mid-week check-in zoom call to offer more help with the things you are learning throughout the week. My experience with Nucamp so far has exceeded expectations. The only thing that would have made it better for me (and to be honest this is nit-picking and something I would probably say about any bootcamp on the market) it would be helpful to me and how my brain processes information to have examples along the way of the different concepts as they would be used in real-life application, ex: you may not understand but this concept would be used on a fully functioning website to do X, this would have helped me understand WHY the concept was important.

I wanted to learn something new and hopefully change occupations. I've been working in retail for 10 years. I'm just very tired of being on my hands and feet all night and I want to do something new. I looked around and decided to get into the computer field. I chose programming because there is always something new to learn. I figured, that it would keep me busy and pay well in the end. So, I took a vacation and looked around on course report and found Nucamp. The price was hard to beat at $350 for a 4 week intensive course, even just to try it out. So, I did. The work is hard, you have to study, and learn to use other resources to help yourself out. Although, with how much you have to learn in a short amount of time, I feel it has made me smarter in a way. There is so much to learn and still, so much I don't understand. The course gives you a basic understanding of html, css, and javascript. You won't learn everything in just 4 weeks and some things are easier to understand than others, but you will learn a lot. The decision for me was a good one and I feel even though I don't understand everything its doable with practice. Web Fundamentals 4 wk Course
The cost for a web fundamental and full stack course is the first thing. The course itself for career advancement, the time length, scheduling and convience with life. A boot camp usually jumps a person into action to learn at a faster pace to know what needs to be done. I wish I would of learned this while in service. I would of had a better life a long time ago. I absolutley loved that I was able to work on my own pace monday thru friday then finish the week on saturdays from 9 am to 1pm thru video zoom workcamps. I decided to join NuCamp for several reasons. First, the great reviews swayed me. Next, I looked at which skills were a best fit for the current web/app design job market, and the tools which NuCamp teaches were the most in demand and seemed to be the ones which would benefit me most. Best choice ever
Thanks to Nucamp i was able to get the opertunity of learning a new job field, in a field i never would have thought i would be able to. Do to my lack of having no cosigner, no former experiance in the tech world. as well as not having a high school dihploma. Even with the odds stacked against me

Fullstack Bootcamp
Throughout my bootcamp research I discovered plenty of solid choices. However, the biggest selling point with Nucamp was the flexibility with my schedule. Being able to still work full-time and complete the courses after work is great. Another obvious reason why Nucamp stood out over the other bootcamps is the cost. Up until about two months ago I had never written a single line of code in my life. I was nervous and uncertain how hard it would be for me to learn coding. I signed up for the fundamentals course and immediately felt welcomed. After completing the course I decided to continue with Nucamp. With life being, well life, I moved across the country and took a job in a friends café. Now having completed my first course section of bootstrap in the front end and app development course, I am confident to call myself a web-developer. With much yet to learn, I am looking forward to the next three months of diving in to become more knowledgeable and skilled. I now spend my days making coffee and writing code and I love it. The best part is, this is just the beginning. Soon I'll graduate and start a career in the tech industry.
