    Nucamp

I really enjoyed Nucamp for the continuous project that we worked on throughout the curriculum. But the greatest thing so far is the unlimited access to the course that gets updated very often with new details and techniques.
I would definitely suggest Nucamp over any other coding Bootcamp.

    Amazing Bootcamp

I wanted to learn programming so I can start a new career. I started looking into bootcamps because I knew that it would provide the right direction and curriculum rather than trying to pick it up on your own. I almost signed up for a $15k bootcamp and was very nervous about making that decision. After doing some more research, I found a bootcamp in my city called Nucamp. This best part, it was affordable. The price was too good to be true! I watched a youtube video with the founder (Lud...

Start off on the right foot with Nucamp!

I was very impressed with NuCamp's curriculum in every aspect! From the organization and layout of the content, to the communication and support from the instructors.I originally was accepted into a Software Development bootcamp that was postponed until the summer/fall. Instead of waiting, I took the Web Development Fundamentals couse with Nucamp. It was even better than advertised. I found myself counting the days down til Saturday each week! I could not wait to learn and interact with ...

So far Waste of time and money

So far I'm on week 3 of the React course and let me say that is the worst course I have ever taken. they do not explain the logic in the lectures they just show you how and where to write the code, I'm so disappointed , I signed up base on their reviews and I have no idea how they are rated so high, It dose not make any sense. I contacted at leas 3 other students and we all agreed that Nucamp is not a good school at all. 4 hours workshop each Saturday for 12 students where we suppose to ...

Hello XXXXX, really sorry that you feel this way. Since you've just recently started React I would suggest reaching out to studentadmin@nucamp.co for a refund. Given how far along you are you should be getting a good amount of your tuition back.

Now regarding your feedback, I find it difficult to respond to it to be honest. Regarding the React module you are attending that started on May 3rd, we have 19 instructors looking after 200+ students total. Each week we ask students to rate their instructor and the content, and right now the average rating for instructors is 4.48 out of 5, while the content rating is 4.23 out of 5. It's not perfect but likely not "the worst" either. The video and written instructions are meant for you to learn from, which is helped by exercises where we ask you to reproduce what you just saw in your own local environment. Just copying the code won't produce the intended learning experience indeed.

You mention that you contacted "at least 3 other students". Your impression of the school and your personal experience speaks for itself I think. Not clear also what you mean by "at least", is it 3 students, or 4, or 10?

Lastly it is not clear what your 1 star review of Job Assistance is based on since you haven't started the career services yet.

Please reach out to studentadmin@nucamp.co so that we can evaluate options to make it right for you, and support your transition out of the school so that you can explore alternatives. Feel free to reach out to me directly as well at ludo@nucamp.co.

    Web Dev Fundamentals

I enrolled in Nucamp's 4-week Web Development Fundamental course because I'm making a career change from teaching to web development. It was an affordable first step towards this long-term goal. The course material was very detail oriented, and the instructor was fantastic. The workshops allowed me to get experience working with other people and building technical communication skills. I enjoyed it so much that I enrolled in the Full Stack Web Development bootcamp.

    Web Development

I was/am actively looking to get out of the healthcare field and my friend brought NuCamp to my attention. I was looking over the material and information this course provided. What really helped make my decision is the affordability compared to other bootcamps. I am now done with the 4-week fundamentals course and I feel like I was provided a foundation that is predominantly for the self-motivated to learn further. You will have to spend time on your own that the course does not cover, ...

Nucamp is exactly what I was looking for.

I wasn't sure about Nucamp as I hadn't heard a lot about it. I must say I learned a lot about it in the fundamentals course and I loved it!
The instructors are knowledgable and have real world working experience to bring to their teaching.
The course work is organized well throughout the week and the workshops really bring everything together. The small class sizes are great for working with others and getting plenty of time with the instructor to work through issues.

    Nucamp review

I chose Nucamp because it was online and the price was affordable.  I have been studying html and css (and a little bit of js) for about a year.  I figured it would give me a good foundation for entering the bootcamp.  I took the basic course first (web dev fundamentals) just to help with my understanding, and I learned a lot.  I have signed up for the full stack course which starts soon.  I would recommend this if your thinking about entering the field.  A little background on the subje...

    4-week primer (Great!)

Review of the 4-week primer course in HTML, CSS, Javascript:

I chose Nucamp because of the cost (lowest in the country) and the reviews I'd seen on Youtube and other places. While Nucamp is probably a bit thinner on the substance than it probably could be, Nucamp has a fantastic online format and platform. The instructor I had was fantastic and made herself more available than expected. It could've been a bit beefier in material and expectation, but overall this is a GREAT choice ...
